Terms of service

 

These terms and conditions apply to all sales via the Matriks/Designladders website.
This also includes purchases outside the webshop (via email request and payment by bank transfer).
By placing an order, you declare that you have read and accepted these conditions.

Matriks/Designladders reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. The version valid on the date of your order always applies.

1. Order

  • You must be 18 years or older to place an order.

  • You can order by adding products to your shopping cart and paying through the webshop. You can create an account or log in with your existing account.

  • You can specify a different delivery address.

  • After completing your order and payment, you will receive a confirmation email .

  • By ordering, you make an offer to Matriks/Designladders to purchase the selected products under these terms and conditions.

  • Matriks/Designladders may refuse this offer if:

    • the product is not available, or

    • the stated price turns out to be incorrect.
      In that case, you will be contacted by email and your order can be cancelled free of charge.

  • Special requests can also be made by email; payment is then made by bank transfer.

2. Delivery

  • Matriks/Designladders delivers to the address you specify and aims to do so within 4 working days or according to the delivery time stated with the product.

  • If there is any deviation from this, you will be notified.

  • Matriks/Designladders is not liable for any delays beyond its control.

  • Delivery is possible throughout Europe .

3. Prices

  • All prices include Belgian VAT , excluding shipping costs.

  • Shipping costs vary by country and are only charged when:

    • the order amount is less than €100 (for deliveries in the Benelux), or

    • the package is exceptionally large.

  • Any shipping costs will be calculated automatically during checkout.

  • For intra-Community supplies, the 0% VAT rate applies if you provide a valid VAT number.

  • Current shipping costs per country can be found below. Free shipping amounts are based on the order amount excluding shipping costs.

4. Right of withdrawal (distance selling)

  • You have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of receipt.

  • Exceptions: Personalized or discounted products cannot be returned.

  • Please notify us of your cancellation by email with your order reference.

  • After confirmation, you'll receive a return form with instructions. You then have three days to return the product unopened and in its original packaging .

  • Refunds will be made upon receipt of the return, with the exception of the shipping costs incurred by Matriks/Designladders .

  • Matriks/Designladders may refuse a refund if the products or packaging have been damaged by you.

5. Payment

  • You can pay via Shopify Payments , bank transfer , or with a gift certificate .

  • Orders will only be shipped after payment has been received and confirmed.

6. Complaints

  • Loss and transport damage are the responsibility of Matriks/Designladders.

  • Other complaints (defects or incorrect delivery) must be reported by email (with order reference) within 14 days of receipt of the order.

  • After acceptance, you can return the product within 3 days .

  • After receipt, Matriks/Designladders will refund your order, including shipping costs.

7. Liability

  • Despite the care taken to ensure the content and operation of the website, Matriks/Designladders cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damage resulting from the use of the website.

  • Matriks/Designladders does not guarantee that the information is always complete or error-free and may change it at any time.

  • Matriks/Designladders cannot be held liable for damage caused by incorrect use of supplied products .

8. Applicable law & competent court

  • These terms and conditions are exclusively governed by Belgian law .

  • All disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of the district of Antwerp .
